Blue Line Transportation was founded in 1984 by Anthony Rizzuto Sr., a man always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether it be through donating to local charities or assisting a stranger to change a tire, his loyalty, devotion, and generosity were consistently evident through his many selfless actions. Truly an inspiration, Anthony received his first taxi license in 1958 when he was just 21 years old. At the time, he was working at Stelco, and when the company went on strike, Anthony turned to the taxi industry to support his family and didn’t stop there. Showing his concern for the growth and progression of the business, he was successful in his dedicated initiative to convince others within the Hamilton taxi industry to push for, and receive, improved city-regulated mechanical standards. A proud supporter of the taxi industry, adoring grandfather, and as a man who kept his word, Anthony Rizzuto Sr. made a difference and enriched the lives of those around him.
